An artist and maker transforming everyday objects into things worth keeping.

Jason approaches art and making with curiosity, play, and a quiet spirit of invention. For over 25 years, he has transformed everyday objects into new things – lighting, furniture, and sculpture – that retain a sense of their original identity. His work celebrates the beauty of the ordinary, encouraging people to look again at the world around them.

There is nothing better than being able to transform something that has no value – waste – into something new. Whether in galleries, schools, or festival squares, the work invites participation and sparks ideas. Through exhibitions, commissions, workshops, and community projects, Jason shares his passion for making, inspiring others to discover the creative possibilities hidden in familiar things.

Made within reason.

Engineering before glue. The work holds because the geometry holds – tabs, slots, threads, friction-fits. If a piece needs adhesive to stay together, it’s not finished yet.

Made to surprise.

The object should look familiar for half a second before you realise what it is. That double-take is the whole job.

Made with people.

Workshops, residencies, school commissions, community projects. The work travels best when other hands are in it too.
